The 11th National Assembly (Jatiya Sangsad) elections in Bangladesh took place on 30 December 2018. Which is also known as the Bangladesh General National Election 2018. Naogaon District has 6 parliamentary seats out of 300 in the National Assembly. The elections resulted in the selection of six Members of Parliament (MPs) from the six parliamentary constituencies in Naogaon district. The elected Member of Parliament for the Naogaon 6 Constituency passed away on 27 July 2020 during the Corona Pandemic. As a result, Anwar Hossain Helal was elected as the new MP for the Naogaon 6 Constituency in a by-election held on 17 October 2020.
